No, I'm not dead. (On the outside, at any rate.) Last week, I took some time off from the website to finish up some projects that I needed to finish before... well... now.

For those who are inclined to care, here is general update on what you might have missed:

AE #3 is in the can, barring complaints from artist or editor. (I know I haven't been very clear about what "AE" is yet, but hopefully an announcement will be coming... someday.) One thing I can say about AE #3: I wrote a two page spread with 24 panels.

Yes, that's why I said "barring complaints" before.

I'm 99% done cleaning my bedroom/office. This typically takes me one to two weeks, so I only have the time to do this once a year or so. The more cynical may point out that if I cleaned more often, it wouldn't take me one to two weeks each time.

I have a teaching position! They didn't have enough space at the school I taught at last year, Adlai E. Stevenson High. Thankfully, I've managed to secure a position at Crotona Academy... provided the paperwork goes through properly. I'll find out tomorrow, as it's the first day of the school year.

(For teachers. Students start Thursday.)

All of which is to say, no, you will never hear from me again.
